Iraqi Parliament Postpones Agenda to Saturday Session, Dedicates Today's Meeting to General Discussions

The Iraqi Parliament decided on Thursday to postpone the discussion of its agenda until the session scheduled for next Saturday, dedicating today's meeting to general discussions among members. Earlier today, Speaker Heybat al-Halbousi inaugurated the fifth session of the sixth electoral cycle, the first legislative year, and the second legislative term. The session was held with the presence of 222 deputies, where an agreement was reached to defer all agenda items and proceed only with general discussions for today's meeting.
