Controversy Surrounds Nominee for Migration Ministry
Deputy Sami Oshana announced today the nominee proposed for the Ministry of Migration and Displaced Persons. Oshana explained during the Alna program that the Babylon Movement is attempting to secure the ministry by presenting candidates claimed to be independent, yet they are linked to the movement. He pointed out that one of the nominees listed for the voting schedule is the wife of a prominent member of the Babylon Movement, whose husband holds the position of head of the Christian Endowment with ministerial rank. He affirmed that awarding the ministry to this individual does not represent fair representation of the Christian component but rather concentrates government positions within one family. He noted that his bloc's objection to this nomination contributed to the postponement of the ministry's vote.
