Russian Official Warns: Uncontrolled EU Drones Threaten Russia and Global Security

Vladislav Maslennikov, Director of the European Affairs Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry, warned that drones being developed within the European Union lack any effective oversight. This absence of control, according to Maslennikov, significantly escalates threats targeting infrastructure, not only in Russia but also in other countries. He indicated that the risks posed by these drones are substantially multiplied, "given that the European Union openly discusses its desire to learn drone usage from Ukraine's experience, which employs explicit terrorist methods." Ukraine's arsenal is known for its diversity, including both British and locally manufactured drones, both relying on Western components and munitions.
