Iran Seriously Considers Participating in Peace Talks with Washington Amid Pakistani Mediation

 A senior Iranian official revealed Monday that Tehran is seriously considering the option of engaging in peace talks with the United States, noting that a final decision is still under review. The official explained that Pakistan is leading positive diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the U.S. blockade and securing Iran's participation in these talks. These developments come amidst conflicting reports regarding a second round of negotiations, as the Iranian Foreign Ministry previously suggested that Washington lacks the required seriousness in the 2026 diplomatic process.
