Syrian actors Hassan Khalil and Raw'a Al-Saadi officially announced their engagement in a family ceremony held in the capital, Damascus, putting an end to years of rumors and speculation surrounding their relationship. The celebration took place on the evening of Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the "Fino" restaurant located inside the Royal Semiramis Hotel. The ceremony was limited to family and close friends, in addition to a restricted presence of Syrian drama stars, with a calm atmosphere reflecting the private nature of the event. Khalil and Al-Saadi chose to announce their commitment through their personal accounts on "Instagram," by posting photos from the ceremony accompanied by the date "22/7/2026" and a ring emoji, in the first public confirmation of their bond. A number of prominent figures in the art community reacted to the news, as congratulations poured in from their colleagues, including Imarat Rizk, Mahmoud Nasr, Said Sarhan, Ayman Abd al-Salam, Yazan al-Sayed, as well as Dima al-Jundi and Khaled Shabath, who wished them a life full of happiness. On the professional front, the drama series "Sira' al-Tilal" (Conflict of the Hills) brought Khalil and Al-Saadi together for the first time.
