Ahmed Saad Faces Vocal Strain Ahead of New Album Release
Egyptian artist Ahmed Saad has revealed that his voice has become strained ahead of the scheduled release of his new album "Arabic Music," impacting the completion of his song recordings and casting doubt on the planned release date. In a video posted on his official Facebook account, Saad explained that he intended to launch the album on Wednesday, October 28, but was only able to record two out of five songs due to exhaustion caused by frequent singing at wedding events. The artist now faces two options: either delay the album's full release until all songs are recorded or release the two completed tracks on time and postpone the remaining three songs. He has yet to make a final decision, especially since he had previously announced the release date to his fans. He mentioned receiving advice to reduce singing and lessen exertion during wedding performances, but he finds himself fully engaged with the audience, sharing their joy with enthusiasm stemming from his happiness at the occasion rather than merely responding to requests. Saad described "Arabic Music" as one of the most challenging albums in his career, fulfilling a long-held dream to present music that reflects his Arabic musical identity. He expressed sadness over not being able to finish recording on schedule. This situation arises as he works on an ambitious musical project involving the release of five albums with different musical styles throughout 2026. The project began with the release of the "Sad Album" in April, followed by the "Cheerful Album" in June, then the "Electro Album." The plan also includes the "Arabic Music Album" and the "Orchestra Album." Saad's remarks came shortly after his participation in various artistic and social events, including the wedding of Mustafa Shobeir, goalkeeper for Al Ahly and the Egyptian national team, attended by numerous figures from the arts and sports communities.
