Wasit Governor Ali Salimoun announced on Saturday the registration of over a thousand cancer cases in Al-Zubaidiya district since the Al-Zubaidiya power station began operation, emphasizing that these cases were confined to the district. This statement came during a press conference where he called on the relevant minister to intervene in resolving the electricity crisis, noting that the province feels unfairly treated in this vital file.
