Tehran and Baghdad agree to remove separatist groups from Kurdistan borders
The Iranian Ambassador to the Iraqi capital, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadeq, revealed on Tuesday that a joint understanding had been reached with the Iraqi side to remove elements of Iranian separatist groups from the Kurdistan region. Al-Sadeq explained via a post monitored by an electronic platform that this decision came as a result of meetings of the joint security committee between the two countries in the presence of the Iranian delegation and the Iraqi national security advisor, where the agreement stipulated the expulsion of those terrorist elements or officially handing them over, stressing that the step comes within the framework of enhancing joint security cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad.
