A statement issued by the Supreme Judicial Council clarified that the meeting addressed the judiciary's role in backing government efforts to apply the weapon control plan, a well-considered strategy adopted by the Coordination Framework. The two sides also discussed the formation of a committee, emanating from the Coordination Framework, responsible for preparing and announcing this plan once completed and at the appropriate time.
