Supreme Judiciary Categorically Denies Allegations of Senior Officials, MPs Visiting Accused Deputy Oil Minister
The Supreme Judicial Council on Tuesday refuted circulating reports claiming the monitoring of numerous visits to the accused Adnan al-Jumaili. The Council clarified in a statement that claims published by some media outlets about monitoring (65 visits) to the Deputy Minister of Oil for Refinery Affairs, Adnan al-Jumaili, by officials, ministers, parliamentarians, faction leaders, general managers, and businessmen, are inaccurate and have no connection to the judiciary. The Supreme Judicial Council affirmed that its Media Center is the sole official body authorized to publish its statements and news.
