Strict judicial rulings issued against Lahur Sheikh Jangi and his brother in Sulaymaniyah

The Sulaymaniyah Criminal Court issued prison sentences on Thursday against the leader of the People's Front Party, Lahur Sheikh Jangi, and his brother, in connection with the Lalazar hotel events. A judicial statement clarified that the court sentenced Lahur Sheikh Jangi to five years and three months in prison over the related case. The statement added that the eighth session of the court also included sentencing his brother, Polad Sheikh Jangi, to three years and six months in prison, alongside a two-year prison term for defendant Rebwar Hamid Haji Ghalib.
