Representative of Religious Authority: Palestinian Cause Draws Resilience from Imam Hussein's Approach
Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, affirmed on Monday in holy Karbala that the Palestinian cause draws its resilience and strength from the approach of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), emphasizing that steadfastness to principles is the sole path to confront injustice. His remarks came during his reception of delegations participating in the International Al-Aqsa Call Conference, where al-Karbalai explained that the essence of human life is based on divine trials, and only nations that adhere to their principles and follow what pleases God Almighty are capable of perseverance and endurance. He added that the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein is keen on organizing this conference annually, driven by its belief that the Palestinian cause cannot stand against tyranny, despotism, injustice, and arrogance except by drawing inspiration from the approach of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). He clarified that this approach is what God Almighty has instilled its eternal fervor in the hearts of believers, signifying unwavering faith in principles and a firm conviction that the oppressed will ultimately triumph. Al-Karbalai pointed out that this victory will be achieved regardless of how long the conflict lasts or how intense the sacrifices become, and no matter what killings, adversities, and trials the oppressed people endure, the inevitable outcome will be the triumph of the just cause and the empowerment of the oppressed who cling to their rights.
