Prime Minister Stresses Government's Commitment to Religious Sites
Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi affirmed on Thursday the government's keenness to care for all religious and holy sites across the country. This came during Al-Zaidi's reception of a delegation from the Qadiriya Shrine, headed by its legitimate custodian and Secretary-General Sheikh Khalid Abdul Qadir Al-Kilani. During the meeting, Al-Zaidi emphasized the positive role of religious figures in strengthening the social fabric, particularly through adopting moderate discourse, spreading tolerance and brotherhood, combating extremist ideology, and rejecting violence, hatred, and division, thus solidifying fraternity among all segments of the Iraqi people.
