Prime Minister Returns to Baghdad After Concluding Official Visit to Tehran

Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi returned to Baghdad today, Friday, concluding his official visit to Tehran. The visit included high-level meetings: Al-Zaidi met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and led the Iraqi delegation in extensive discussions. He also met with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Eje'i. Furthermore, one agreement and three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed. The agreement concerned international land freight and transport of goods. The MoUs covered railway linkage between Kermanshah-Khosravi-Khanaqin-Baghdad, a twinning pact between Baghdad and Tehran municipalities, and cooperation in public administration and human resource training.
