Prime Minister Approves Allocating Job Opportunities for Orphans in Interior and Defense Ministries

The Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs within the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced on Sunday that Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi has approved allocating a percentage of job positions within the cadres of the Ministries of Interior and Defense. These positions will be designated for orphans residing in care homes who have completed 18 years of age and meet the legal and physical requirements. The head of the Commission, Dhikra Abdul Rahim, stated that this approval represents a genuine outcome of the Commission's continuous efforts in addressing orphan issues, emphasizing that empowering them and providing opportunities that preserve their dignity and stability is a top priority for the Ministry's work. Abdul Rahim added that allocating these job positions will open new horizons for orphans to secure a stable source of income, enhancing their ability to build their future and become self-reliant, while utilizing their energies to serve the nation.
