President: Voting on ministerial cabinet pivotal national station highly important constitutional step
The President of the Republic, Nizar Amidi, stated today, Thursday, that voting on the ministerial cabinet is a pivotal national station and a highly important constitutional step.
Amidi said in a post on (X) that "the Parliament's vote on the ministerial cabinet is a pivotal national station and a highly important constitutional step towards consolidating political stability, enhancing Iraq's security and sovereignty, and unifying efforts to face current challenges and meet entitlements."
He added: "We congratulate brother Ali Al-Zaidi and the ladies and gentlemen ministers on gaining the confidence of the Parliament, and we look forward to completing the ministerial cabinet as soon as possible, in a way that ensures an effective start in implementing the government program and achieving the aspirations of Iraqis."
He added: "We extend our thanks and appreciation to brother Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and the members of his government for their efforts during the past phase, and their keenness in managing their responsibilities and serving the people of our nation."
