President of the Republic Mourns Dora Incident Martyrs, Stating: State and Security Institutions Cannot Be Transgressed
President of the Republic Nechirvan Amidi mourned today, Thursday, the two martyrs of the Dora incident, Brigadier General Hisham Muhammad Talla, Director of the Al-Amana Police Department in Karkh, and officer Khalid Abbas Lafta, who were martyred while performing their national and professional duty in law enforcement. In a statement, Amidi expressed deep sorrow, offering his sincere condolences to the families and colleagues of the two martyrs. The President affirmed that the state and its security and legal institutions are not a party that can be transgressed, stressing that the rule of law and respect for state institutions is an obligation for everyone without exception, and no attack diminishing the state's prestige or constitutional duties will be allowed. He also noted that enforcing the law and protecting lives and property is a national responsibility, emphasizing continued support for security forces and dealing firmly with anyone attempting to impose their will outside the law or attacking officers tasked with its enforcement.
