President Amidi Stresses Responsible Action to Preserve Iraq's Unity and Sovereignty to Khazali

President Nazare Amidi affirmed on Wednesday that the current stage requires prioritizing national interest, unifying ranks, and acting responsibly to preserve Iraq's unity and sovereignty. This came during his reception in Baghdad of Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement. A statement from the Presidential Media Office noted the meeting included a comprehensive review of the political, security, and economic situations in the country, alongside discussions on bolstering government support in executing its ministerial program to achieve citizens' aspirations. The President stressed deepening understanding among political forces, intensifying joint efforts to solidify security and stability, and supporting state institutions. He clarified this fosters a suitable environment for advancing development and meeting public aspirations, reiterating that the current period demands prioritizing national interest, uniting ranks, and taking full responsibility to uphold Iraq's unity and sovereignty. Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, for his part, emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and coordination among national forces, supporting all actions that enhance Iraq's stability, protect its people's interests, and contribute to overcoming current challenges and fostering national construction and development.
