Parliament Completes First Reading of Cybercrime Bill Proposal

The Council of Representatives, on Monday, completed the first reading of a proposed law to combat information technology crimes, as part of its inaugural session for the new legislative term. A statement issued by the Parliament's media department clarified that this session, chaired by Speaker of Parliament Hebat al-Halbousi, marks the first for the sixth electoral cycle and the first legislative year within the second legislative term.
