Naim Qassem Praises Iran's Unwavering Support for Lebanese Resistance and People Against Entity

Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, sent a letter to Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, expressing gratitude for Iran's role in "compelling the Israeli entity to an immediate halt of operations on all fronts, including Lebanon." Qassem affirmed that Iran "gave Hezbollah, the resistance, and the people of Lebanon everything, and took nothing from them." Qassem stated that words fail to express deep thanks for Iran's strong and supportive stances towards Lebanon, its people, and its resistance. He highlighted that these positions contributed to forcing the Israeli entity into an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, linking this to halting the war on the Islamic Republic of Iran as a primary and fundamental clause in any agreement between Iran and America. Hezbollah's Secretary-General added that Iran "transformed the sole effective glimmer of hope in curbing Israeli-American aggression against Lebanon into a tangible reality." He stressed that Iran has proven to the world its stance as "a supporter of truth, resistance, and the oppressed," asserting that had others followed its path, America and Israel would not have become tyrannical, and the Zionist occupation would not have persisted in Palestine and Jerusalem. Qassem continued: "Iran has given us choices and granted us strength for the liberation of our land, to heal our society's wounds, and to assist it." He noted that Iran today "sheds blood, confronting the Zionist entity's shelling in response to its bombardment of the southern Beirut suburb, and bears consequences that warn of war with great sacrifices," concluding: "Iran is an icon of pride and honor." Qassem also extended thanks, on behalf of Hezbollah, its Islamic resistance, the loving Lebanese people, and the martyrs, notably "the master of the nation's martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah," the wounded, and prisoners. He specifically thanked Ghalibaf as the "chief negotiator" and his team, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. He requested conveying gratitude to leader Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei "who overwhelmed us with his attention," President "Pezeshkian, who loves the resistance," the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Army, elites, and all official and popular bodies. He concluded his message by offering special thanks to "the great Iranian people," whose demands he witnessed in "sacrificing their lives to save the resistance and its people," extending final greetings to loyal Iran.
