Khamenei Stresses Immediate Response to All Military and Security Threats

The Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, issued strategic directives during a meeting with senior military commanders, emphasizing the importance of combat readiness to confront enemies with strength and capability. He stressed the necessity of an immediate and effective response to any threat regardless of its nature, without geographical restrictions, noting that if enemies resume military or terrorist attacks, their end will be determined by the armed forces and the Iranian people. Khamenei also ordered the enhancement of military intelligence infrastructure and the development of independent national defense in both doctrine and tactics, alongside upgrading defense and security capabilities using modern technologies, as well as boosting morale and combat readiness of the armed forces, with continuous support and provision of their living needs. In addition, it was decided to update the target bank to include various material and immaterial assets of the American-Zionist enemy within the scope of the armed forces' targeting. He pointed out that the ongoing popular support for the armed forces constitutes a fundamental pillar of deterrence against hostile foreign powers and their mercenaries inside the country, considering the public presence in the squares as an extension of the sacred defense that preserved territorial integrity and the Islamic system. He praised the resilience of the resistance front across several countries, viewing the unity of arenas as a strategic factor shaping the new political and security order in West Asia, expressing hope that this new system will contribute to strengthening the unity of the peoples and governments of Islamic countries and the establishment of a new Islamic civilization. During the meeting, senior military leaders presented reports on the readiness of forces along the Persian Gulf coasts, Strait of Hormuz, Sea of Oman, and the northwestern and southeastern borders, as well as a significant increase in the production of various types of ammunition and weapons specialized in reconnaissance, support, and combat operations. Khamenei expressed satisfaction with the performance of the armed forces, sending his greetings, thanks, and approval to all members of the military, security forces, mobilization units, and their families.
