Iraqi Prime Minister Orders Flag Unification in Official Institutions

Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi, on Thursday, directed the unification of Iraqi flags in official institutions. A statement from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers indicated that al-Zaidi instructed all ministries, non-affiliated entities, and governorates to replace Iraqi flags atop all government institutions and their affiliated departments, ensuring they are systematic and unified, with attention to quality within official measurements, and that replacement is periodic, given the Iraqi flag's symbolism of national sovereignty.
