Iraqi Parliament Pushes to Include PMF Differences in 2027 Budget

MP Baqir al-Yasiri affirmed on Monday that parliamentary efforts are underway to include Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) financial discrepancies within the 2027 budget. Yasiri highlighted that this move enjoys the support of over 50 parliamentary signatures, adding that the work proceeds following earlier approval from the First Deputy Speaker.
