Iraqi Chief Justice and Iranian Parliament Speaker Discuss Judicial Cooperation and Bilateral Agreements

Iraq's Chief Justice, Faiq Zidan, discussed on Thursday with the Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, ways to activate joint agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two countries. A statement issued by the Supreme Judicial Council indicated that the meeting involved receiving the Iranian Parliament Speaker and his accompanying delegation. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Iran in judicial and legal fields, in addition to following up on the implementation of agreements and memoranda of understanding concluded between the two sides.
