Iraq Thanks Iran for Allowing Oil Tankers Through Strait of Hormuz

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein thanked Iran for allowing Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that he received the Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadiq.

During the meeting, the minister expressed appreciation for facilitating the passage of Iraqi oil shipments, emphasizing the importance of continuing such cooperation.

The Iranian ambassador outlined Tehran’s position on recent developments related to the conflict, while regional issues were also discussed.

Hussein reaffirmed Iraq’s consistent policy of rejecting war and the need to end it.

He stressed the importance of resolving disputes through dialogue and peaceful negotiations.
