Iraq Condemns Damascus Terrorist Bombings
The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday condemned the bombings targeting the Syrian capital, Damascus, affirming Iraq's complete rejection of all forms of terrorism, extremism, and violence, regardless of motives or justifications. In a statement, the Ministry strongly condemned the terrorist attacks executed with explosive devices in Damascus, which injured several innocent civilians. It added that "these criminal acts represent a blatant violation of civilian security and stability, aiming to undermine stability in Syria." The ministry reiterated "Iraq's firm and steadfast stance against all forms of terrorism, extremism, and violence, whatever their motives or justifications." Iraq also expressed solidarity with Syria in confronting these terrorist aggressions, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
