Iranian President: Tehran Resilient Against Threats

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed on Thursday that Tehran has not succumbed to pressures and threats, while simultaneously managing to secure national interests and sustain economic activities. Pezeshkian noted that many countries in the region have, more than ever, recognized the necessity of cooperation, rapprochement, and developing mutual relations. He emphasized that Iran, alongside strengthening internal cohesion, is seriously pursuing the expansion of fraternal relations and regional cooperation. Relations with neighboring countries and the Islamic world have witnessed an upward trend in recent years, contributing to valuable cooperation across various fields. The Iranian President called for enhanced rapprochement among Islamic nations, explaining that if these countries rely on their commonalities and direct their immense human, cultural, and economic energies towards cooperation, no power would be able to threaten the region's security and stability. He pointed out that many current challenges and crises often stem from disagreements, misunderstandings, and divisions that adversaries constantly seek to deepen and expand.
