Iranian President Invites Al-Zaidi to Visit Tehran

Pezeshkian arrived leading an official delegation to attend the funeral ceremonies for the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Al-Husseini Khamenei. During their meeting, Prime Minister Al-Zaidi renewed condolences to the Iranian people and government on Supreme Leader Khamenei's passing, stressing the deep relations and mutual commitment to strengthening them across various fields. He also underscored the critical nature of the next phase, which demands precision and caution in regional and international dealings to foster stability and resolve conflicts. President Pezeshkian, in turn, thanked Iraq for the honorable stance of its government and people, praising the substantial efforts and facilitations for the funeral arrangements. He reaffirmed the strong bond between the two nations' peoples, inviting Prime Minister Al-Zaidi to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran to further cooperation and partnership in addressing common challenges.
