Iran military capabilities persist despite strikes and halted operations

Recent intelligence assessments indicate that Tehran has successfully maintained a large portion of its industrial infrastructure for producing missiles and drones, despite months of intensive military campaigns by Washington and Tel Aviv, providing it with a wide margin to restore its strategic inventory. Western officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, explained that Iranian manufacturing capabilities are still able to provide direct compensation for depleted equipment, confirming that Tehran retains huge reserves of ballistic missiles and anti-ship systems along with the ability to increase production rates at an accelerated pace. In the same context, one official pointed to the presence of Russian military supplies directed to Tehran, which matches previous intelligence reports dating back to June, while the Russian Ministry of Defense refrained from commenting on this data. These developments intersect with the temporary halt adopted by US President Donald Trump in launching new raids ahead of the upcoming congressional midterm elections, which contradicts previous official statements made by Trump and his administration leaders claiming that the eight months of air strikes had brought down the Iranian defense infrastructure and completely ended its ability to target Washington's interests and regional allies, especially after Defense Minister Pete Hegseth announced at the end of last September the total destruction of the Iranian military industrial sector.
