Finance Minister and Judicial Head Agree on Public Funds Recovery and Legal Deposit Mechanisms

Minister of Finance Faleh Sari and Judge Faiq Zidan, Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, convened to discuss mechanisms for recovering public funds and legally depositing them to prevent waste. The Tuesday meeting aimed at bolstering cooperation between the executive and judicial branches in safeguarding public money and tracking the retrieval of assets obtained from corruption cases. Discussions centered on enhancing procedures for public fund recovery and ensuring their secure deposit within approved legal structures, thereby protecting them from mismanagement. The Minister emphasized public money protection as a shared national responsibility, affirming the Ministry's commitment to supporting efforts to prosecute those involved in corruption and recover state funds, thus boosting citizens' trust in state institutions and upholding integrity and the rule of law.
