Federal Finance Ministry Approves Salary Disbursement for Kurdistan Employees and Retirees for October

The Federal Ministry of Finance issued a decision today, Monday, approving the funding of salaries for employees and retirees of the Kurdistan Region for the month of October, with an amount ranging between 839 and 840 billion dinars, in preparation for transferring it to the Ministry of Finance and Economy's bank account in the region. The federal Finance Minister, Faleh Al-Sari, signed the approval letter for disbursing the financial entitlements, while the funding letter was referred to the Accounting Department to complete the necessary administrative and banking procedures. The amount is scheduled to be deposited into the regional Ministry of Finance's bank account at the Central Bank of Iraq branch in Erbil once the remaining transactions are finalized. This step followed the regional government's submission on October 21 of the employee salary lists for October, accompanied by the trial balance report for September, to subject them to financial and accounting audits in accordance with the joint agreements.
