Deputy Confirms: Candidates for Three or Four Remaining Ministries Await Final Decision Amid Expectations of Swift Resolution

Deputy Thair Al-Kaabi revealed on Tuesday that candidates for three or four of the nine outstanding ministerial portfolios are still awaiting final decision. Al-Kaabi affirmed that "the finalization of these nine ministries, currently managed by acting officials, will be soon." He indicated that "the political climate within the Council of Representatives suggests the file's completion within a short period, following agreement on nominated individuals." He added that "members of the Council of Representatives will play a significant role in selecting and voting on ministers, with considerable interest from the Prime Minister and political blocs to conclude this matter." Al-Kaabi noted that "three or four ministries still need final candidate selection, while the remaining portfolios have advanced significantly in political understandings." The Deputy clarified that "the emphasis on finalizing these ministries stems from the necessity of having an authentic minister with a clear vision and strategy to manage their portfolio for the next four years, especially as numerous strategic issues require ministerial decisions and authority."
