Barzani and Al-Halbousi Agree to Open a New Page of Cooperation

Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani announced on Tuesday an agreement with Taqadum Party leader Mohammed al-Halbousi to start a new political chapter. Barzani described the meeting as highly productive, emphasizing mutual understanding. Furthermore, he extended an official invitation for Al-Halbousi to visit the Kurdistan Region, noting that discussions included the Political Council of Sunni Forces to unify national visions during the 2026 political transition.
