Baghdad Condemns Targeting of Kuwait, Urges Self-Restraint and De-escalation
The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed on Friday its strong condemnation of the targeting of the sisterly State of Kuwait with missiles and drones, emphasizing at the same time the importance of self-restraint and avoiding any escalation. The Ministry stressed its categorical rejection of all actions that threaten the security and stability of the region's countries, reaffirming the necessity of exercising self-restraint and avoiding escalation, which contributes to reducing tensions and enhancing regional security and stability. Baghdad also underscored the importance of adopting dialogue and diplomatic means to address crises, renewing the Republic of Iraq's full support for all regional and international efforts aimed at preventing the expansion of violence and working towards peaceful solutions that preserve the security and stability of the region's peoples.
