Al-Zaidi Invites Bahraini King to Visit Iraq to Strengthen Ties

Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi extended an official invitation to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to visit Iraq during their meeting in Manama on Wednesday. Al-Zaidi emphasized that the visit aims to revive the historical relations between the two countries and strengthen cooperation in economic, investment, trade, political, and social fields. He highlighted the shared security interests between Iraq and Bahrain, stressing the need to unify positions on regional and international issues and to work towards regional stability through dialogue and peace. The Bahraini king welcomed the prime minister's visit, considering it a step that will open new horizons for enhancing bilateral relations. He affirmed his country's support for the Iraqi government and the importance of joint efforts to achieve security, stability, protect common interests, and reinforce Arab cooperation.
