Al Zaidi and British Ambassador emphasize importance adopting dialogue to spare region war

The Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi and the British Ambassador to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq, emphasized on Wednesday the importance of adopting dialogue as a basic option to spare the region the dangers and repercussions of war.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by (Al-Rabiya) that "the Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received, on Wednesday, the Ambassador of Britain to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq, and they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of consolidating cooperation and enhancing partnerships, in a way that opens new horizons for integration and serves mutual interests."

It added that "the meeting touched upon the latest developments in the region, emphasizing the importance of concerting regional and international efforts to ease tensions in it, and adopting dialogue as a primary option to spare the region the dangers and repercussions of war, contributing to enhancing regional and international security."
