Al-Qabbanji Attributes Cabinet Formation Delay to "Foreign Veto"

The Friday preacher in Najaf Al-Ashraf, Sadr Al-Din Al-Qabbanji, called for distancing from foreign pressures to complete the formation of the ministerial cabinet, affirming that a "foreign veto" is behind the delay in its completion. Al-Qabbanji explained in his sermon that the delay in completing the government formation has persisted for over 115 days, with nine ministries remaining vacant. These ministries include Defense, Interior, Planning, Higher Education, Reconstruction, Culture, Labor, Youth and Sports, and Migration and Displaced Persons. He emphasized that the core issue lies in the "foreign veto" imposed on certain parties, urging the Coordination Framework and the Prime Minister's Office to expedite the completion of the ministerial cabinet and avoid any foreign influences.
