Al-Qabanji Urges Iraq to Review Iran Aviation Sanctions, Labels Israeli Entity as Illegitimate Terrorist
Sadr al-Din al-Qabanji, Friday preacher in Najaf al-Ashraf, today called on the Iraqi government to review its stance on the American sanctions imposed on Iranian aviation, asserting that compliance with these sanctions does not serve national interests. Al-Qabanji emphasized that it is unacceptable for any party in any conflict to impose a position that does not align with the interests or identity of the Iraqi people, clarifying that Iraq's response to such sanctions does not serve its interests. Regarding international affairs, Al-Qabanji noted the withdrawal of more than eighty countries from the United Nations General Assembly hall during the speech of the head of the Israeli entity, Benjamin Netanyahu. He considered this scene evidence of "the victory of global public opinion," affirming that "the Israeli entity represents an illegitimate and terrorist existence that relies on killing and extermination." Al-Qabanji further stated that "United Nations meetings do not achieve any real results; they are merely platforms for delivering futile speeches." He added that "even the International Court, which issued a condemnation against the head of the entity, faced American sanctions."
