Al-Halbousi and Erdogan Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Issues in Ankara

Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Hebat Al-Halbousi, discussed today, Wednesday, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ways to strengthen joint cooperation and coordination between the two countries in various fields. A statement issued by the Speaker's media office reported that the meeting took place during Al-Halbousi's official visit to the capital, Ankara. The statement added that during the discussions, bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey were reviewed, along with means to enhance joint cooperation and coordination in diverse sectors. The two sides also discussed developments in regional affairs and a number of files and issues of mutual concern.
