White House: Naval Blockade Applies to All Ships Heading to Iran

The White House announced full enforcement of a naval blockade on Iran.

Saying it applies to ships of all nations.

Entering or leaving Iranian ports.

It clarified the blockade covers.

Ports on the Arabian Gulf.

And the Gulf of Oman.

The United States supports freedom of navigation.

For vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

To and from non-Iranian ports.

But said the support.

Excludes ships benefiting Iran’s economy.
