War Impact Cuts Iraq Oil Output to 800,000 Barrels Per Day

The ongoing conflict in Iran has significantly reduced Iraq’s oil production due to export disruptions and storage constraints.

Officials said production in major southern fields dropped by around 80% to 800,000 barrels per day.

A directive also ordered a reduction in output at the Rumaila field, with North Rumaila set at 350,000 barrels per day starting March 24, 2026.

The situation reflects growing pressure on Iraq’s energy sector.
