US Vice President: Agreement to Cut Off Funds for Iran's Nuclear Program Reconstruction

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated Monday that an agreement will deprive Iran of funds needed to rebuild its nuclear program. Vance told a media outlet, "There is a long-term commitment ensuring Iran never develops or acquires a nuclear weapon, and this agreement deprives it of the funds for its nuclear program's reconstruction." He added: "We expect Iran to be represented at the signing by the Speaker of Parliament, Foreign Minister, and others. We hope the agreement's text will be published this week." He concluded: "I believe some in Israel accept the agreement."
