US President Threatens Iran's Destruction if No Deal Reached, Emphasizing Preference for Diplomacy

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday threatened widespread destruction against Iran if a comprehensive agreement is not reached. Speaking in a television interview, Trump stated that "good talks have taken place with Iran, and it is much better to reach a deal than to destroy what remains of the country." He alluded to the possibility of "great talks" that Iran might later disavow, claiming no dialogue occurred or that the nuclear file was not discussed. The American President reiterated his assurances regarding US military capabilities against Iran, stating that "Iran's air defense has been neutralized, as have many of their weapons." He added that "the Jabal Al-Fa's site in Iran is not a significant problem, and Washington is in a very strong position, capable of destroying most Iranian bridges in less than an hour." He emphasized that "if Iran does not conclude a deal, I will return and complete the mission, and we will not allow it to violate agreements in the future."
