US Official: Preventing Iranian Nuclear Arms a Top Priority for Trump Administration

A senior US official affirmed that preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons represents a core mission for President Donald Trump, considering it a cornerstone for achieving peace and stability in the Middle East and the world. The official clarified that the administration is also working to weaken Tehran's ability to intimidate its neighbors and threaten global trade, noting that the United States continues its efforts to ensure the flow of oil, gas, and other products through the Strait of Hormuz, with or without Iran's cooperation.
