Upcoming date to complete government cabinet

The Sadiqoon parliamentary bloc announced on Friday an expected date for resolving the completion of the government cabinet next week. Safaa al-Jabari, a lawmaker from the bloc, stated in a televised interview that a parliamentary session is expected to be held on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week to vote on completing the government formation. Regarding the possibility of the bloc relinquishing its electoral entitlement, al-Jabari stressed that the bloc will take its electoral share, indicating that discussions are preliminarily revolving around the Ministry of Labor and the position of Deputy Prime Minister. Concerning external reservations about certain names, al-Jabari affirmed that the file has been completely addressed, praising the Prime Minister's successful role in managing and balancing competing forces within the Coordination Framework. He expects the file to be resolved by the middle of next week at best, or the following week at worst. When asked whether the chances still revolve around Laith al-Khazali for the position of Deputy Prime Minister, al-Jabari answered affirmatively.
