In a post on the social media platform (X), Wright stated he was honored to host Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi in Washington. Both sides jointly witnessed the signing of commercial agreements with US energy firms, exceeding 60 billion dollars. The Secretary highlighted that this enhanced energy cooperation between the two nations contributes to building a more secure, prosperous, and energy-abundant future for the United States, Iraq, and the world.
