Trump: Iranian Leader Mojtaba Khamenei Alive, Imminent Victory Against Tehran
U.S. President Donald Trump, on Wednesday, expressed his belief that Iranian Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is alive, indicating his country would achieve a significant victory in Iran. In a press statement, Trump declared: "I believe that the Iranian Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is alive," asserting that "the American army eliminated the Iranian navy." He added: "We eliminated 20 Iranian boats last night, and we completely control the situation, monitoring movements in the blockade area." He highlighted that "the Iranian currency is worthless, and the inflation rate in Iran has reached 300%," reiterating claims about "Iranian soldiers not receiving salaries." He further stated that "victory in Venezuela and our immense financial power will lead to a very great victory against Iran soon." Trump clarified that "the American confrontation with Iran is not subject to any timeline and will continue as long as it takes," emphasizing "no specific timetable regarding returning to the negotiating table, and I am not in a hurry." He also noted that "Iranians treat their people very badly and kill a very large number of protesters, making demonstrations very difficult due to individuals willing to shoot and kill." He concluded: "I believe both economic warfare and military strikes are effective."
