The President emphasizes importance consolidating peace and establishing state prestige

The President of the Republic, Nazar Amidi, emphasized today, Monday, the importance of moving forward in all paths to consolidate peace and establish the prestige and sovereignty of the state.

The President of the Republic, Nazar Amidi, said in a speech on the occasion of Iraqi Engineer's Day, the annual anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Engineers Union, that "the Iraqi engineer was present in the fields of reconstruction and development, despite the exceptional circumstances Iraq went through, and proved his ability to achieve and excel inside and outside the country."

He stressed "the importance of moving forward in all paths to consolidate peace, establish the prestige and sovereignty of the state, upgrade financial policies, and stimulate economic activity," adding, "We are passing through an exceptional historical circumstance that requires national responsibility and the concerted efforts of unions, universities, the private sector, and state institutions to support government efforts in various fields."

He added, "The Iraqi engineer was, through various stages, present in the fields of reconstruction and development, despite the challenges and exceptional circumstances Iraq went through, and proved his ability to achieve and excel, inside and outside the country."

He continued, "In our country today, the need for engineers of various specialties seems to be an essential need in order to build a solid economy, advanced infrastructure, and face the challenges of the impacts of climate change."

He pointed out that "Iraqis realize the importance of the exceptional historical circumstance that confirms the need for national responsibility and the concerted efforts of unions, universities, the private sector, and state institutions in order to support and reinforce government efforts in various fields and create a future worthy of our people."
