Syrian President Al-Shar'a and Judge Zidan Discuss Judicial and Legal Cooperation

Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shar'a received on Thursday the Head of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidan, and his accompanying delegation, at the People's Palace in Damascus. The meeting focused on discussing ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the judicial and legal fields. A statement issued by the Syrian Presidency indicated that the meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani and Minister of Justice Mazhar Al-Owais. During the discussions, a comprehensive review of several issues of common interest between the two countries took place, aiming to develop bilateral relations in this vital sector.
