Senior Iranian Security Official: "Lebanon is Iran's Soul" and a Red Line

The Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, affirmed that Lebanon represents "the soul of Iran," emphasizing that the Islamic Republic would not permit the violation of its "red lines." In statements reported by Iranian media, Zolghadr indicated that "the response of Islamic fighters is coming," asserting that "the unity of fronts has established a strong security chain for the defense of the region." He reiterated that "Lebanon is our soul, and the red lines will not be allowed to be violated."
